Cancer Trainee-Advocate Session at Georgetown University Tumor Biology Retreat

Advocates who attended: Shelley Brundage, Nora Carbine, Naomi Greenwood, Margery London, Sherri Stahl
The purpose of this meeting was to build relationships between trainees and patient advocates for the improvement of cancer research. Advocates and trainees introduced themselves, and a group leader at each table prompted lively discussion about the interactive roles of advocates and researchers.
After the roundtable discussions, trainees presented their Posters providing information about their research projects. A Wine and Cheese Reception followed the Poster Session.
